The Parlor also boasts the oldest-known map of Union County, mounted above the fireplace. The map was found under the attic floor boards of a nearby home and given to the North’s to display at the Inn. It has been said that the map was hidden during the Civil War to prevent the Confederate Army from obtaining it in the event the Union Army fell during the battle of Gettysburg.
In the comfortable and beautifully appointed Parlor, guests may lounge, read, watch television, and have a cup of tea. Just outside the door... activities abound! If you are visiting on business, the Parlor offers you a relaxing atmosphere in which to meet.
